Piscina Coperta «Karl Dibiasi»

In winter only the indoor 25m pool is open and only for limited hours - check before you visit (e.g., it's closed from 2:30 to 4:30 PM). The pool has many users, so lanes may be unavailable or restricted. From 4:30 to 6:00 PM, the only lap swimming is across the pool with no lanes marked and very busy. The pool is new and clean.

I swam in an outdoor, stainless steel pool here, a thing I had never seen before. It's 50m long and 26ºC. (79ºF), with several diving platforms. Usually only three or four of the eight lanes are set aside for lap swimming. Swim caps are mandatory. There is no insistence on having an EKG. Admission includes locker and lock. The swimmers and staff are friendly. The reduced price for Senior Citizens is available to non-EU citizens (unlike many other places in Italy).

This is a very nice facility. I swam here on a Sunday morning and the entire pool was being used. Half of it with lane lines in, the other half without. Everyone was swimming laps. The faster swimmers were in the lanes with lane lines.

Nice facilities. Five lanes are designated for different speeds (slow, medium, fast) even though the self-assessment of (male) swimmers doesn't always lead them to the appropriate lane. Between 8 and 10 AM, most of the space is reserved for groups, but 6:45 to 8 AM is a great time to swim there. Bathing caps are mandatory.
