The pool is clean and really well maintained. It’s a beautiful place to swim with a domed ceiling above, wall to wall glass windows, and the nearby mosque visible to the east. Although the facility is showing its age, this pool is a great place to swim laps.
When you enter the building, you can buy a three-hour entrance ticket from the booth by the front door (discounted monthly passes are available). Credit cards are accepted. You’re given a plastic wristband to open the gate and also a metal key for a locker.
The men's and women’s showers, along with individual changing cabins are located down the stairs. You have to leave your shoes by the changing cabins, so be sure to bring slippers because the showers and locker room floor are pretty grimy. Swim caps and fitted swimsuits are required.
It’s about 20 minutes by public transportation from the Old Town, but it’s directly in front of the main tram line and easily accessible.
Overall it's great place to swim if you’re in the area.
