The pool is clean and I detect no traces of chlorine. The real strength of the pool, however, is its setting: large windows with views directly to the scenic hillsides of Nidderdale. You can see the sheep, trees and fields of the opposite side of the dale. The lockers all work and a hot shower is available when you finish your swim. Not a great choice for ‘100 lengths a session’ lane swimmers – too many young children swimming into the fast lane – but otherwise a good, basic pool in all respects.
