Most of the time, only lane 4 is available for public swimming, as the rest is used by the swim team. This sometimes means the lane will be shared.

The pool is clean and pleasant. with a consistent depth of about four feet. In January, which is during the cool season, the temperature was brisk. The locker room and shower facilities are a bit rough: the showers did not work on my second visit and did not have a shower head (the water ran from a pipe); most lockers did not have doors that can close and lock, but some did. Bring your own lock and towel. Might require a swimming cap. On my most recent visit, half of the pool was divided into four lanes, and the other was open swimming.
