Nantucket Community Pool

I was visiting Nantucket and looking for a place to swim. This turned out to be the only public pool on the island open for lap swimming. The hours vary day to day, so you’ll need to check the schedule ahead of time.

I went around 10 AM and had the entire pool to myself. The water was clean, cool, and crystal clear. The locker room is small but perfectly functional. The pool is actually located inside the high school, which was a bit unexpected, but it worked out just fine.

I’d definitely come back. It cost $20 for a single swim, and it was well worth it.

This is a nice pool and well managed. It's very convenient and user-friendly. There's a Covid era sign-up utility on website. The open hours are now mornings to midday.

This is a great pool. Very clean, cool, and modern. The “lifeguard” was more of a coach who provided helpful guidance to all. Good exercise when on holiday. Enjoy!

Lovely pool, very clean and well managed.

I went twice last week – agree with the previous comments; a lovely pool. Three lanes were available for lap swim during Family Swim: 3 to 4:30 PM. The water temperature was 82º F.
