The complex is light, airy, modern, and reasonably clean. There is no footwash trough, and there is a grimy line at the water levels on all the pools. The main pool is very busy on Sundays, one quarter of the pool is roped off for lane swimming, butthere are many slow swimmers. I swim in the open part of the pool, dodging children as necessary. The outdoor pool, set in lovely gardens, is a treat. It's never crowded with children, as it's colder, but is enjoyed by older swimmers.
