Mission Valley YMCA

The 10 lane 25m outdoor pool is fantastic! It even has anti-turbulence lane lines. A few lanes are removed occasionally for classes, e.g., aqua fitness, but there are always some lanes available. It opens at 4:30 AM and a coached Masters group swims from 5:30 to 8:30 AM in hourly sessions. It's a great facility with helpful staff. It's kept clean and is well supported by the members.

It's a very nice facility. The indoor pool water is quite warm and its lane availability is limited after 8 AM.

This is a well designed, newer pool. Although largely glass-enclosed, doors around the pool area are usually open most of the year.
