This pool is fine so long as you get there before children might show up. I went each day when it opened at 8. The outdoor roped swimming area is a possibility and there is an Ironman course out in the middle of the lake. I have never tried it because the Ironman is a wetsuit event and I get scared off by that. I note that the reported lake temp was 74ºF (23ºC) so perhaps it is more doable than my aging tolerance allows.
