On the warm side, at times over 30ºC. Advertised at 20m, it's closer to 18m. Although shallow, it's still comfortable to swim in. There is always at least one lane for lane swimming, but it can get busy during afternoon lessons and aqua-fit classes.
Although it's a members-only club, often the members are teenage boys, who just want to play, rather than swim; and it suffers for the fact that the sauna/steam/Jacuzzi® area is next to the pool. The Northampton Virgin pool is better.
