After an £800,000 renovation, this is probably one of the best facilities in the North East. There are plenty of showers and all public areas are covered by CCTV. The pool’s filtration pipe work and vessels have been refurbished and the water quality is now good. Visibility is excellent and the general upkeep of the pool area has improved greatly. Unfortunately, there are only two lanes reserved for length swimming for a couple of hours a day.
