It’s best to go in the middle of day, if you can; it was very busy and had only one lane at 5:30 PM. Between 9:30 and 10:30 AM, I shared a lane with three others. My swims were all on weekdays; I figure it is probably quieter on the weekends.

The water in the pool was on the warm side. A swim cap is required. Wear light goggles if you have them, It’s dark and I took a bit to adjust with my mirrored lenses. Bring your own lock.

When I swam in the middle of the day, the pool was relatively unbusy and the water 83ºF.

The pool is closed for kids' sessions from 3:30 to 5:30 PM on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and there are a lot of other activities at other times that close down lanes; it gets crowded after work hours.

Rating: 7 on a scale of 10. It’s busy with lots of aqua aerobics, etc.

New and clean, most swimmers are courteous (guards do NOT enforce lane etiquette). But it's way beyond busy - after work only three or four lanes are available for laps, all very crowded, with five or six swimmers per lane. Membership rates are on a par with commercial clubs.

A nice, new pool, with a high ceiling and good ventilation - a cut above Vanderbilt and West Side.

The water was cloudy when I swam here. It was also on the warm side about 83º or 84ºF (28º or 29ºC).
