Other than being short course most/all the time, this is a nice pool and the water feels consistently 79º or so - the way it should be.

The pool's lap swim schedule is updated monthly on its website. Swim lanes are sometimes very limited due to high school water polo games, swim meets, and junior lifeguard try-outs in the Spring. The pool is very crowded at these times. Generally, however, it's a good place to swim.

The weekend schedule is reliable - open Saturday and Sunday from 7:30 to 11 AM. Parking is readily available.

During the week, it’s really hard to swim; they leave just two lanes for the public, the rest of the pool is used for the school team’s practice. I’ve been there many times and have waited more than 20 minutes but nothing opened up. Try it a couple of times before you commit to an annual pass, as I did. So far the only times I’ve been able to swim there is during weekends. And I don't think the water is at 80º F.

I disagree. The regulars have invited me to participate in their workouts more than once. I’ve never have to wait to swim. Funds have been raised for a locker/shower room renovation.

A couple of “pick-up” swim workouts occur daily – visitors rarely welcomed. They spread out and won't circle swim. It’s difficult to swim laps before 7 PM. Lane lines are sometimes omitted…

Showers eke out a cold, indifferent stream. Locker rooms are glorified bathrooms but they're clean and fairly modern.
