Often (at least in the summer), there will only be one or two lanes open in the evenings. The other lanes will be closed for swim team/lessons. Check the schedule closely each time, before you go.

Facility Notes
This is a new location replacing the old (120 years old!) YMCA facility at 83 Pleasant Street. In addition to the lap pool, there is also a 20y, warm water therapy pool that features a “zero-entry” ramp and a large water fountain for the kids. A co-ed whirlpool is also available.

It’s new, clean, and convenient to where I live. The pool is open seven days a week (M-F from 5:30 AM to 9:00 PM, Saturday until 7:30 PM and Sunday 8 AM to 5 PM); see the website for details. The water is about 84º most of the time and they separate lanes by speed (slow, medium or fast). Swim lessons are available (higher prices for non-members). Aqua Aerobics classes are held weekday mornings and evenings in the therapy pool, and there are swim times for kids and families in both pools.
