There is also a separate outside toddlers pool at this facility.
We are advised that there are a lot of school gala days in Oct. and Nov., so call first to check whether the pool is open to public when you plan to swim during these months.

The pool is really great - plenty of space to swim, even when half the pool is being used for lessons and swimming club. The water is warm, clear, and definitely chlorinated. We use it often when staying with family nearby in Johannesburg.

The pool and facilities are in amazing condition.

The pool is old (opened 1964), but clean and in good shape. It has glass walls at each end of the curved roofing, so it is completely protected from the weather. Very clean water, chlorinated. Set in the centre of lawns. At a cost of about one U.S. dollar, the value is brilliant. Free parking. Enclosed cold showers. Enclosed changing rooms.

The showers are hot water, if the geyser works! Nothing fancy, but they do the trick!
