I took my granddaughters for a swim today. The water in both pools was a lovely temperature, especially for the 22-month old. Although all the facilities are quite dated, they were clean and totally acceptable.

I love swimming at Romiley. The water temperature is usually very good, if anything, sometimes it's a tad too warm. The staff are friendly and, if you go at the right times, it's not too busy.

This has to be the filthiest public swimming pool I have ever been to. Filthy, old, and dilapidated changing facilities. I recently took my two year old to this pool; not only was it filthy but the water was genuinely freezing. We didn’t stay long.

It really annoys me when you pay all that money to swim in freezing water, it puts me off going.
