Facility Notes
The pool is usually kept at 28ºC (82ºF) in summer and over the Christmas holidays and gets down to 15ºC (59ºF) from October until opening for summer, except for the Christmas holidays, when the heat is turned on again and the temperature is brought back up to 28ºC.
The lido is open daily in the summer months, closes in September, and reopens for weekend-only cold water swimming in mid-October. After the last cold water swim in November, the water temperature is brought back up to 28ºC for Christmas and Boxing Day swims. Cold water weekend swimming sessions resume in February and March. The summer season begins at the Easter holidays (late March, in 2024).
Reservations are required for the cold water swims and Christmas holiday swims. It appears that casual entry may be available in the summer season.
