Pool 2 is not set up for lap swimming - there are no lane lines, etc. It’s usually divided cross ways, with a rope separating the shallow and deep ends, so it is difficult to swim laps even without the lane lines. I think it is less than a full 25 yards, but I'm not sure. Pool 1 always has at least one lane open, except during Y team and HS swim meets.
