Leventhorpe Pool and Gym

Once again Leventhorpe pool is threatened with closure as funding may not be secured. The previous review content is still valid; it is a fantastic community pool and I encourage you to use this facility before it is lost to us forever.

This is a beautifully maintained swimming pool and is a pleasure to use. The changing rooms are always clean and never smell, unlike some other local pools I could mention! Water temperature is perfect. The staff are friendly and are well presented, which makes you feel safe during your visit. Well worth a trip! It's a shame that there are plans to close. Please visit this pool and ensure its future.
We are advised that closure plans have been dropped. Eds.
It appears, unfortunately, that the possibility of a closure of this facility has arisen, again. See the review that follows. Eds.
