Leisureworld - Churchfield

In the early afternoon on a Friday in December, one lane of the pool was roped off, but there were only eight or nine people in the entire pool, and only two in that single roped-off lane. The pool can be very full of students at certain times; the schedule on their web site indicates when pool is shared with other activities.

There is now a sign-up process, even for a single swim, which involves receiving an email confirming your sign up, be sure you have your phone with you when you go there.

The staff is friendly and helpful.

The building and staff are very welcoming and there is a good atmosphere. There is a good standard of cleanliness, although repairs are needed for the locks to the changing and shower cubicles.

There is a separate kids' pool with toys and a waterslide, and the main pool has one lane roped off for lane swimming. When activities take place, the pool is divided and the lane remains in place. It is a nice facility but serious swimmers will do well to find a bigger pool with more lanes.
