Lakeland Hills Family YMCA

This Y has a separate warm water pool (which was closed for a while but has since reopened) so the lap pool is a perfect 79ºF. The pool is well ventilated, so the air is nice, and showers are plentiful. There are some pull-buoys and lots of fins available to borrow. I swam here on a Saturday evening; the hours here are better than other pools in the area for non-morning swimmers!

The water temperature is fairly comfortable. The pool is crowded in the morning. Evenings and weekends are better but the hours are limited during September – March swim team season, as the team takes over the pool for practice. Shower use is time-limited (short). Pool decks are continuously videotaped.

The water temperature is too high and the morning hours are quite crowded (two or three swimmers in each lane). However, this is the only option in this location. The locker room and showers are adequate.
