On the positive side, finding a four-lane LA Fitness pool is always nice and finding a 25-meter pool in the USA is exciting.
On the slightly negative side, swimming here before sunrise is a bit like swimming in the dark as they seemed to have only turned on a couple of lights when I was here. The water temperature was decent enough for lap swimming (maybe 82º).
And, though all good swim coaches tell you that you should keep your eyes focused down and not look for the cross on the wall when turning, this pool does not have crosses on its walls (though it does have a "T" on the bottom) so swimmers who do look for that should be forewarned.
