I was in downtown Akron for work and had the chance to swim at this Y. It is less than a mile from the downtown hotels and an easy walk/run. The pool was phenomenal and the staff extremely welcoming. I arrived about 6:35 AM on a Friday and had a lane to myself. I am a Y member, but if you are not, a free daily pass is available on their website.
