This pool is located on the top floor of a building that houses various sports facilities. The ceiling is entirely made of glass, allowing abundant natural light to flood in, which makes swimming there quite pleasant. The ceiling is retractable and remains open in summer. Unfortunately, the water temperature exceeds 30°C (86°F), which makes any serious workout more strenuous. Additionally, there is a mandatory five-minute break every hour, during which all swimmers must exit the water.
When I swam there two lanes were reserved for people with disabilities, and one lane was dedicated to water walking. Only three lanes were available for lap swimming. Since overtaking other swimmers is not allowed, having just one or two slower swimmers in your lane can make the session challenging. During the day, the pool isn’t overly crowded, and you might be lucky enough to have a lane all to yourself. Otherwise, slower swimmers often stop at the wall to let faster ones pass.
