Facility Notes

Pool #2's water temperature is between 17º and 20ºC (63º - 72ºF) in winter.

It appears that the problem with the pool's heaters being out of service, referred to in the June, 2022, review, below, has been resolved. The water in the indoor pool is now heated, we just don't know to what temperature.

Although the pool does not have an official website, someone has created and unofficial Facebook page which has some photos and videos of the place.

In 2020, the pool's hours were: Winter: Weekdays from 6 AM to 7:30 PM. Summer: Weekdays from 5:30 AM to 8:30 PM; weekends and public holidays from 6 AM to 5 PM.

After being closed for many years, the King’s Park Aquatic Centre is once again open to the public. The pools, however, are still not heated. The heating system broke down and there are no plans for repairs. In winter, the water temperature ranges from 17º to 20º C. The 50m pool is closed for cleaning on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings; it opens at 13:00 on those days.
