Juniper Swim & Fitness Center

I swam here daily during a visit at the end of November 2024. I support everything the previous reviewer wrote: It's an excellent facility not only with several pools but also a fitness center with free weights, cardio and weight machines. It has a high-school swim team vibe. My favorite time to swim was around 2 PM: There was no problem getting a lane for myself in the big Olympic-sized pool (50m divided in half to 25m lanes) before the swim team practices start at around 3:30 PM on weekdays. The price was right, $76.50 for a ten-pack of admissions. I recommend this pool!

A world-class, bustling facility with beautiful pools, updated locker rooms (bring a quarter for a locker!), and a sauna and hot tub to bask in post-swim. Aqua jog belts are available to use, as are kickboards, pull buoys, and fins (in labeled bins in any size you can imagine). Caps, goggles, nose clips, and swim diapers are offered for sale. Local swimmers were friendly and, at 7am, I had to share a lane with only one other swimmer each day I visited—even though the indoor pool was temporarily closed.

The sauna was such a nice surprise for that chilly Oregon morning.

An exceptional facility: At least four pools including a recently installed outdoor Olympic pool with a temporary roof for the winter. At 7 AM we had our choice of lanes. The water was cool but not too cool. As we swam, we watched vapour rise from the pool as dawn broke over a mountain.

A very nice facility - the 50m pool is clean and new. Sometimes the pool is divided into two 25m sections, half for laps. The locker room can be overrun with kids at times.
