This pool is ok for swimming laps in the early morning or late afternoon, avoiding the crowds. It is 25m, however, to avoid knocking into recreational swimmers, you have to swim close to the full length cascading waterfall.

I prefer Ignite's 40m pool at the Ascott, also on Sheikh Zayed Road. There you have two lanes (always empty and clean), a view of the Burj al Arab off in the distance, and excellent shower and locker rooms.
