I swam here back in 2012 and yes, the pool was crowded and no, there were no lap lanes, but it was worth a visit for the experience with the locals. The men's locker room was divided into sections on an upper floor and was difficult to find.

I went here as a one-time visitor around closing time on a weekday. It is a very beautiful building and nice clean (metal) pool. It wasn't busy at all and I had a nice swim.

I can confirm the first review. The pool is just around corner from my flat and, even though they have a nice metal sports pool, it's useless to sports swimmers. It has been too crowded any time I have been there and the staff has little understanding of the needs of faster swimmers. If you happen to see lanes set up, it's probably because the swimming club is about to arrive or has just left. The situation is a little better in the summer (May to September), when the outdoor pool is also open.

I found it impossible to lap swim at this pool because on the Friday afternoon I went, it was VERY crowded. The pool is not separated into lanes and there is no swimming protocol whatsoever.
