Joint Forces Training Base NAF-MWR Aquatic Training Center

This was a strange pool to swim at. It's listed as a 50m pool, but apparently set up as a 25y pool most of the time. I don't know if it was under construction but, when I visited, the pool literally felt like a large hole in the parking lot without any pool liner or paint. The lane lines were faint, if non-existent, and the facility overall felt old and well used. On the plus side, the pool temperature was great, there was equipment available for use, and the staff and other swimmers were friendly and helpful. The locker rooms also were worn and not the cleanest.

Great pool! Gets a little crowed in the summer with polo players, lap swimmers, and children's lessons competing for space. But in fall, winter, spring there are usually fewer than 10 people in the pool. Lockers and showers are acceptable. Friendly staff.
