The facility feels dated and the pool is really too warm for laps. That said, the days and hours that the facility is open are extensive, and the price is hard to beat. On the day we swam (a Sunday morning), the facility was heavily used but not crowded. People were using the lanes appropriate for their speed. The pool temperature was posted as 30.8ºC (87.4ºF) in one location and 31.4ºC (88.5ºF) in another. Either way it was too warm.

This facility is relatively old, as compared to the DaAn Sports Center. It's crowded during morning sessions - always eight people in a lane. The water is clean. The lockers are coin operated.

A nice pool, typical of the other neighborhood municipal pools in Taipei. If you get in when it isn't crowded, you can get a decent workout. On the plus side, it's clean, cheap, and well maintained; usually 5 or 6 lanes with flags and nice lane markers. On the minus side, it was very crowded on a Monday at 2 PM; there were 6 - 8 people per lane, mostly the slow breaststroke crowd, and lessons going on in the end.

Only 4 or 5 lanes for lap swimming. The rest are for swim lessons or walking. The pool is very clean and nice. The air is not too warm or humid and there is no chemical smell. No windows, but it's adequately lit so you don't feel like you're swimmingin a cave. The locker rooms are old but in fair shape. No pace clock. Until 10 AM, lap swimming is free for seniors (65+) -crowded and slow. Swimmers here are very slow. I could get a decent workout in, but at times the lanes were extremely crowded.
