Jesus Green Lido

In the afternoon on a sunny Saturday in May, it wasn't crowded at all, but the water was still cold. The lane line is really wimpy, but there is a dedicated lane for lap swimming. More an experience than a great pool. Very basic changing rooms.

The pool can be busy on hot summer days, which makes swimming through the crowds a bit of a challenge. Early openings on Tuesdays and Fridays allow you to train. The water temperature varies from very cold to cold (it's not heated), nothing a wetsuit won't fix, though hardy types brave the cold in just their cossies. Especially good for open water training, since the pool is so long! Staff are pleasant and friendly. Not had any problems or complaints in the years I have been going.
