This is a fantastic new facility, built for professionals and welcoming to us mere mortals. The pool is open early for public lap swimming and I cannot imagine it would ever be full. They had the 50-meter pool configured for short course yards and there must have been 20 or more lanes available. A large scoreboard was running Time-Of-Day for easy pace clock use. The water temperature was competition-ready, which I enjoy.
Check-in was easy but they either preferred or required a credit/debit card versus cash. The locker rooms were clean and capable. Dry deck space was plentiful. It looks like they can open large garage doors for ventilation in the summer.
The facility is outstanding and my congratulations to the team that put this together. Boise has a wonderful asset.
