Ida Lee Park Recreation Center

I've swum in many beautiful pools this year, but this is the one I wish were my home pool. A beautiful, clean facility, friendly staff, nice locker rooms, amazing hours. Bring a quarter for the lockers as they aren't set up to take a padlock.

I was visiting the area in April and swam here four times. Ten lanes. Twenty-five yards. Never a problem getting a lane. I shared on the first day, then had my own lane each day after. I went between 10 and 11 AM each day. They have lanes designated for fast, medium, slow, and walkers, but it's not well policed by the lifeguards.

The locker rooms and showers are very nice. There's also a nice, large Jacuzzi to soak in after a swim.

I like the diving board, but its hours are too short. I love the gym; all the classes are good. There is only one problem: There should be a filter for the age of the class participants. People too young take up a lot of class time.
