Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center

Surprisingly for a hotel, this is a real lap pool; it has lane dividers and marker lines. The temperature felt cool, not warm like most hotel pools. I swam at 10 AM and was the only person in the pool (one or two people were in the gym). There is also a suit spinner/water extractor. They have a sign listing the length of the pool (I think it said 66.2 feet but could be wrong) and also indicating how many laps equal a mile.

The pool is quite comfortable for lap swimming. The water was very clear. This is a new hotel and the entire fitness center is 24 hours (except the pool and hot tub). They have large, clean towels available all over the center and the pool deck. I also used one of their four elliptical trainers while waiting for the pool to open; it was wonderful looking out the large windows that faced the city and mountains (a small part of the mountains were in view) as the city came to life.
