The pool is elliptical in shape and you have the choice of swimming in circles or doing lengths. The shape means that only a very small number of people can do lengths at a time. Generally the pool was quiet with a maximum of about six people in the water when we stayed. There is a bar by the pool and do not be surprised to see your fellow guests sitting at the side drinking beer and smoking. There is a sauna and steam bath attached with a "German" dress code.
