You need to have a permit to swim in this pool or to be in a swim team that swims there. On non-summer weekdays, the pool opens at 6 AM - 7.30 AM every day, except Thursday. There is a Masters team that works out there. On some days, the lanes are shared with the high school swim team. The water temperature is great for serious lap swimming. It's fairly clean, though you have the typical hairballs and Band-Aids. The locker rooms are terrible and dirty.
