This is a military pool and soldiers train here at erratic hours, but they courteously move or leave one or two lanes for the general public.
Children and adolescents swarm the pool starting at 4:00 PM every day. Not only do they NOT move aside for lap swimmers, they often swim right into them, which forces them to move into the next lane, then the next lane, then the next. Not only can this cause injury, but it forces them out of the shade and into the sun (painfully fierce in Vietnam). The six or eight guards are oblivious — even when bleeding lap swimmers inform them. Hence, lap swimmers are advised to wear long-sleeve swim tops and bottoms (swimmers must shower off sunscreens before entering pool).
Although phone numbers are listed on Facebook, don't waste your time calling, you will NEVER reach anyone. There is no phone in the ticket kiosk.
Despite all of the above, this is the best pool I've found in all of Da Nang (cleanest, good size, fair price). And The water is a comfortable temperature in all seasons.
