Facility Notes

The pool is closed on the first Monday of every month, except if the first Monday is a holiday, then the closure is on the second Monday. It is also closed from December 29 through January 3, and it may be closed for some part of December, before the 29th for mechanical inspections.

As in most Japanese pools, swim caps are required, no jewelery is allowed, watches must have a protective cover.

This is a beautiful facility with lots of friendly staff. The front desk has instructions in English. There is a sauna on the pool deck. There are scheduled 10-minute breaks to rearrange lane lines. Check THIS WEB PAGE for the schedule.

I was not permitted to use my waterproof iPod shuffle clipped to back of my googles. Flip flops are not permitted, only bare feet. Lockers were available; bring a 50¥ coin to operate.
