Make sure that you have appropriate change for a locker (¥100, returnable), as well as a cap. The staff speak no English, but try to be as helpful as possible. There are separate lanes for fast swimmers, as well as for playing children, so that lap swimmers do not get disturbed. The basin is made of stainless steel, which is weird if one is not used to it - and the water is a bit too hot. Training material is provided.
