Better than the typical hotel pool, despite its length. Rectangular shape, sparkling clean, comfortable temp, (I swam 50 minutes without overheating). Hours are 6 A.M.-11 P.M. Locker room is quite nice, includes a sauna. The pool makes the hotel wellworth considering for a short stay in Rome, especially for an overnight arriving in the evening or leaving in the morning or early afternoon and want to swim before you leave without worrying about getting to the airport on time.
