Herning Svømmehal

This is the best swimming pool complex that I have had the opportunity to see and swim in. Danmarks Største Svøemhall translates to Denmark's Largest Swimming Hall. The 50-meter pool is a competition pool with incredible architectural design. The 25-meter pool is constructed of stainless steel which I had never seen before. If you are in Jutland and you are a swimmer, it is worth going out of your way to visit this excellent facility.

This is an excellent swimming pool, one of the best I have seen. The main reason is that there are actually six different pools, three of them for adults. Most leisure swimmers stay in the warmer (29º C) pool or outdoor (26º C) area. But there's a 50m long, 10-lane, (27ºC) pool for sports swimmers. The lanes are not speed-designated, and they have kids' lessons most of the time, but you can often have a lane of your own. The opening times are good for Denmark (6:30 AM to 9 PM Monday through Thursday, 6.30 to 7 PM Friday and, 8 AM to 4 PM Saturday and Sunday). There are two saunas in the shower areas. It's spacious and there's lots of light.
