Nicely Victorian pool - with original tiles and refreshed reception and changing areas. Not cheap at £8 for just one hour, but nice to swim in an unusual length pool, as well.

Facility Notes
Although the main pool is striped on the bottom for five lanes, the lane lines (dividers) are usually set up for just four lanes.
The Health Hydro closed on April 1, 2023 for an eighteen-month refurbishment. Its webpage indicated that the gym and activity space were to be completely redone and the pool refurbished. The facility finally reopened in January, 2026.

This is an old-style Victorian era pool. It's kept fairly clean and the water quality is okay. If you just want somewhere to churn out some lengths, it does the job (and the longer pool length is a plus) but it feels a bit run down, particularly in the changing area.
