We checked again in early October, 2020, and found a report indicating that it would be at least two and a half years after financing arrangements are made (and they hadn't yet been made) before the pool could reopen.

A March 4, 2020, (pre-Covid-19 pandemic closure) on the pool's Facebook page indicated that structural defects to the pool had been discovered that would necessitate a pool closure "for a long time". We'll check back from time to time, but we're not optimistic about an early reopening,

The good news is that budgets and appropriations for not only the repair of the original pool but also the addition of another 25-meter pool have been approved.
The bad news is that, as of August, 2023, the work had not even begun!
