This is a 25-meter pool with one lane for faster swimmers; the rest is an open area. In the evenings this lane is usually taken by clubs or for kids' lessons. Swimming in the open area can be messy, but there is a higher percentage of sport swimmers than in other pools.
There is a separate, smaller pool for water aerobics, and a baby pool, both kept at warmer temperatures than the sports pool. Due to the energy crisis, there are no warm water days in the main pool, but the showers are hot and rather long.
