Grantham Meres Leisure Centre

It's tricky to work out when this pool is open for laps. There are many breaststroke swimmers, and no real organization of the lanes by speed. It's an older pool with quaint shower arrangements - everyone showers together with their swimmers on. 20p (returnable) is required for a locker. The water seemed warmer than 82ºF. Passable maybe. Helpful staff.

Every time we try to swim, we are told the main pool is closed to the public for one reason or another. It is a disgrace; it is supposed to be a leisure centre open to everyone, not just the select few.
