Gracemount Leisure Centre

The pool has undergone substantial refurbishment in 2015 and now features a new changing area, sauna, and showers. There are usually two lanes reserved for lane swimming, unless other activities are taking place. Check the pool timetable, which can be downloaded from its official website ("website", above).

The pool is generally OK but there are two problems: The showers can be really hot; I find it difficult to stay under them at times. And it’s most annoying to pay for a swim only to find half the pool has been cordoned off for things like aqua-aerobics. Most swimmers would prefer to have the complete length of an already small pool.
