This is Britain's oldest working public baths, having opened in 1882. It closed in January, 2012, after a storm did extensive damage to the roof, but reopened in April, 2014. See THIS ARTICLE about the pool from the Glasgow Evening Times.

Photos of the pool show a staircase entry that takes about one-third of the width of the pool, rendering the central lane somewhat shorter than the two outside lanes. Photos from before the pool's 2014 renovation show the pool without stripes on the bottom; the photo in the article referred to above shows that lines had been painted (or tiled) as part of the works.
