Giants Aquatics Aruba at the former Aqua Windie’s Pool

I swam here in September 2025. It cost $7.00. I think the pool has been recently repaired and renovated as the bottom looked very good. The water was warm, at least a toasty 84º - 85ºF and somewhat cloudy. Their water filtering contraption was something to behold! I had to make a reservation for a lane, only two (out of six) were available but no one else was swimming laps. There was a water aerobics session going on in the other part of the pool. As mentioned in another review, the lane markers are antiquated but okay. Lockers rooms are non-existent. There are a few uni-sex cubicles and open-air showers. The staff was wonderfully friendly and helpful. All in all, I was thrilled to be able to swim laps in Aruba in a decent facility.

The pool is getting a bit beat up. There were quite a few tiles missing. However, the water was great. It was clean and at a good temperature.

At current exchange rates, the AWG 10 price should convert to US$5.70, but most of the time they just rounded up to $6.00.

The water was a little warmer than 80ºF, maybe 82ºF (28ºC), but it could have been from the sun beating down on it. Admission was US$ 4.00.

This is a very clean, 6 lane 25 m pool. Fully tiled, with lines and targets. The lane ropes are a bit antiquated but serviceable. The water temperature is always about 80ºF. Some kick boards available, but bring your own gear, if you are hard-core about your work outs. Visit the website for lap swim hours - there are plenty. A package of 10 entries is $30, which works out less than the cost of daily entries for a week. There is a little restaurant / bar adjoining if your want to have something before or after your work out. The facility also has fitness classes, a dive shop, and offers diving instructions and swimming lessons. So no excuses: you can go on vacation and keep up your work outs! Located about 5 minutes by car from the high-rise hotels and walking distance from the low-rise, it's next to the Hospital.
