Facility Notes

The pool was closed in mid-January, 2024, for undisclosed mechanical reasons. In a review of the city's website in August, 2025, there was no indication as to when the pool might reopen but it appears that it will not be soon.

The noon to 1:30 lap swim is a real scene, packed with swimmers of all levels. It's usually circle swimming and intervals for high level, high energy, Silicon Valley-type swimmers. There's lots of funny conversation in the locker room among pool pals.

Even though there are no lockers, I have never had anything stolen in over 20 years. Many people bring their bag to poolside presumably to reduce risk of theft. There's lots of camaraderie among regular swimmers.

A big pool, very clean and well-guarded; two instruction pools are also available. There are big dressing room and showers, but no lockers.
