I’ve never seen a swimming facility like this.
The ten-lane pool is a chilly 80º, and the adjacent four lane pool is 83º - 85º. The warm water pool only has two striped, narrow lanes (no butterfly could be swum there) with another large space for walking or water aerobics classes. The larger pool has several lanes separated by large-diameter anti-turbulent lane lines, and it's is deep.
It is attached to a Hampton Inn. From the hotel rooms above, take the elevator into the Hampton Inn lobby and there is a double door entrance to the pool from the hotel lobby. Hotel guests have free use of the pool and attached health club. If your family accompanies you, your kids and spouse can also use the wonderful facility free. It's SOOOO convenient for visiting travelers. It’s located on Kansas State Route 400 about 5 miles west of I-235, so you avoid the traffic inside Wichita proper.
