Facility Notes

This may be the most famous pool in Budapest, but it took us forever to find its dimensions - and a site visitor told us that what we had (25m) was wrong!

This is a proper Turkish bath with full facilities and the price reflects that. You're paying for The Works - so it's not a place to go for lap swimming, especially if you want to get in and out quickly. The facility does have a swimming pool but, as the previous review said, it's really not suitable for lap swimming. Go to the Hajós Alfréd Sportuszoda for serious swimming, instead.

This is a fantastic place, however, and I highly recommend visiting it for an amazing cultural experience. Just not for a swift swim.

Difficult to swim laps. The indoor pool is less than 25m with jets like a jacuzzi. The outdoor pool has a wave machine; lap swimming is possible, but only width-wise. I recommend swimming elsewhere. The locker rooms are like a maze.
